We are proud to honor the incredible group of Federal Way Public Schools employees who are retiring at the end of this school year. Your service, leadership, and heart have made a lasting difference in the lives of our scholars, families, and community.

This year’s celebration was filled with joy and appreciation, featuring a heartwarming performance by our Uptown Square ECEAP scholars and live music from the Decatur High School Jazz Quintet. Among this year’s retirees are teachers, counselors, athletic directors, principals, paraeducators, transportation staff, custodians, office staff, nutrition services teams, student support services teams, and district leaders. You represent the many roles that make FWPS a place where each scholar thrives.

Because of your care, mentorship, and unwavering commitment, generations of scholars have been supported on their paths to success. We are grateful for all you’ve given to our district.
