LGBTQ+ Pride Month 2025

In June, we recognize LGBTQ+ Pride Month, a time to celebrate the diverse and vibrant identities that strengthen our district. This month serves as a reminder of the importance of creating an environment where our scholars, staff, and community members can show up as their true selves. When students feel accepted and comfortable, they are empowered to excel in their learning.

Our district is committed to fostering safe, welcoming spaces where every individual feels a sense of belonging. We proudly share resources about the LGBTQ+ community, highlight the contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals, and celebrate the progress made toward equal rights and acceptance both locally and globally.

Creating inclusive spaces requires ongoing effort, not just a month of recognition. FWPS is dedicated to embedding the representation of all scholars in everyday learning, incorporating LGBTQ+ history and human rights into our curriculum. It's crucial that every student sees themselves reflected in what they learn.
