Pride points:

100% of our scholars are engaged in targeted, personalized reading instruction through Lexia Core5, an adaptive digital tool that is coupled with teacher provided, data-driven instruction.

Teachers engage in data-driven inquiry around scholar achievement and growth and utilize research based instructional best practices to accelerate scholar learning.

Area of Focus: 

High quality teaching and learning with a focus on culturally responsive instruction that supports the development and acquisition of academic language.

Pride Points:

We are Bullfrogs at Mark Twain and celebrate being safe, respectful, and responsible through our school-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system.

We maintain a school-wide focus on developing culturally competent educators who value partnering with families to educate our children.

Area of Focus:

School-wide PBIS system of focusing on being safe, respectful, and responsible across the school in all areas with all individuals.

Goal 1

Teaching and learning behaviors reflect anti-racist and culturally responsive instructional practices (i.e. Universal Design for Learning (UDL)/Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) strategies) and norms aligned to the instructional framework and systemwide guaranteed and viable curriculum.

Engage Professional Learning Communities (PLC's) in a cycle of inquiry using multiple measures to inform and adjust instruction while disaggregating data through an equity lens (interim common assessments).
